ETHEREAL was formed in 2002, intent on creating darkened extreme black metal in the UK scene.
The first release “Hell’s Divine Existence” was their first EP- released in 2004. After numerous shows and several line up changes, this was followed by the “Revelation Beast” EP in 2010.
After a successful tour with Dark Fortress in 2012 around the UK, guitarists Iyaan and M-Inanz sought new members to create the next chapter and progression of the musical vision.
