Tormenta was spawned by John in December 2017. As part of a tribute band to Latin metal Giants ILL NINO, we went on to writing our own music and Tormenta was born! Dec joined the band in Feb 2018 and after a few member changes the line up was complete.
We are best described as Nu-Metalcore with an electronic twist. Our music combines crushing riffs, breakdowns, samples and dual vocals. We like to think we have a bit of something for everyone.
On New Years Day, Tormenta won 6 Radio Roach Awards- Best Metal EP, Best Metal Single, Best debut, Best New Artist, Best Metal Band and Best band 2018! In a recent review were quoted to be ‘Filling the Gap left by Linkin Park’ and have gained attention elsewhere around the world to which we are extremely humbled.
